I really hope you'll have as much fun reading this tutorial as I had doing it!! I loved doing that, I might do other tutorial!
It's a tutorial to make something like that:
I'm not showing how to do the photoshop to make it look like it was already cut I might do a tutorial about that it's deadly simple xDD ask if you think it might be useful?
I have to go now but if I have some time I'll read it all again and correct the multiple typing mystakes
I'd really like to know if you use my tutorial!! Show me what you end up with!!
Firstly, let me tell you how good it is to see tutorials on traditional media! It is really refreshing and made my day brighter. Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Your steps and extra tips are really useful and your photos and scans are detailed, clear and helpful. You set everything out quite nicely.
The only thing that really bothers me is your quite bad spelling and grammar. However, you can easily solve this by asking a friend or two (or whoever you happen to know who is really good at English) to proofread your work before finalizing it. Maybe you could save the text on a separate layer, so that if you have to edit it, you can do so, before you flatten and upload the image.
Also, the bright red on green is a bit bright to my eyes, but then, I am very sensitive to colour.
Other than these things, you did a great job and good on you for doing things in traditional media, and making them look so good! I hope to see more of these kinds of tutorials from you.
I'm loving the food colour idea - anything that makes less mess! Last week my dog had a purple streak where I'd got over enthusiastic and managed to splatter him! Fab tutorial, thanks for taking the time to post - love the finished result.
Aww I'm glad you like it ^^ Food color takes longuer to fade out than ink too. one more reason not to use ink xDD It's funny cause as I read this message I'm unsing food color for the first time in 1 year O_O
lol yup! and china ink for the black! food coloring wont get ugly because of the light unlike ink and it cost far less than ink. It also wont stay on your clothes if you drip it xD
